Public safety teams can turn vehicle scans into crush measurements and claim-ready reports, while drone crews can count people from a controller-captured image in seconds.

CARROLLTON, Texas, September 22, 2026: SkyeBrowse, the videogrammetry platform for rapid 3D and 2D mapping, today announced the release of its Crush Analysis and Claims tool and Crowd Counter on the DJI RC Pro for enterprise drones. The new workflows help crash reconstructionists and claims teams analyze vehicle damage from a 3D scan and help drone crews estimate crowd size from a single image.

Crush Analysis aligns a catalog-accurate 3D reference vehicle with a scan captured by drone or phone, measures damage across six crush stations, and calculates collision metrics. Its claims workflow assesses up to eight photos, identifies parts to replace, repair, or inspect, and produces a downloadable PDF report.

On the DJI RC Pro, Crowd Counter takes a picture with the drone and returns a count of the people in the image in a few seconds.

Users can identify the vehicle by year, make, model, and trim, by VIN, or by license plate, including a plate read automatically from the scan photos. SkyeBrowse generates a 3D reference for the identified trim, aligns it with the scan, and measures crush depth station by station, C1 through C6.

The tool calculates a barrier-equivalent delta-V and provides a Collision Deformation Classification (CDC) code. A "What it hit" option adds closing speed and impact speed for fixed-object impacts and two-vehicle collisions, using the catalog curb weight, which users can edit.

The claims workflow grades damage from up to eight photos, lists parts to replace, repair, or inspect, provides a repair-cost pre-screen, and pre-screens the claim against the applicable state's total-loss rule across all 50 states and DC. The total-loss pre-screen is a triage aid for adjusters; a licensed adjuster and the carrier's policy terms govern the outcome.

A PDF report records results in inches, feet, pounds, and mph. Reports remain in the SkyeBrowse viewer for download, giving reconstructionists and adjusters measurements they can review on the 3D model. Because every number is measured on the model, another reconstructionist can go back to the scan and inspect where each crush measurement came from.

To use the tool, open a model, select the Measure tab, and click Crush Analysis. It is free on every plan through October 31, 2026. After that, it is included with Public Safety & Enterprise models. License plate lookups cost $1 per plate, repeat lookups on the same plate are free, and plate lookups are free on Public Safety & Enterprise.

Crowd Counter on DJI RC Pro

Crowd Counter is now available in the SkyeBrowse Flight App on the DJI RC Pro for enterprise drones. A pilot takes a picture with the drone, and the tool counts the people visible in the image in a few seconds. The workflow supports event safety and situational awareness when teams need a quick estimate from above. Crowd Counter is also available in the Labs section of the SkyeBrowse web app at app.skyebrowse.com/crowd-counter.

Users without a Public Safety & Enterprise plan receive three free counts per day on the controller. Public Safety & Enterprise customers receive unlimited counts.
