Update Week Part 1: New AI, 3D Viewer Tools, and a Full Redesign

We've been shipping nonstop, and this week we're doing something different. I'm splitting our updates into two newsletters because there's too much to fit into one. Today is all about the web app. Later this week, I'll share what's new with the Flight App.

We are releasing a massive update that touches almost every part of the platform. We’ve combined a fresh new look with some of the most requested professional features.

Meet Agent Luis: Your AI Assistant

We added two things that make SkyeBrowse AI faster to learn and more fun to use.

• Agent Luis Chat Widget: We built an AI assistant directly into the web app. As a public safety DFR coordinator and SkyeBrowse specialist, Luis can help you upload videos, pick a plan, or use the Scale Tool. He provides instant answers so you don't have to dig through documentation. You can even call him directly through the app.
• Anime AI: Joining our Interior and 3D AI styles, the new Anime AI lets you transform your images into one of 15 creative styles. These tools are now available for everyone.

3D Viewer: More Powerful Than Ever

We shipped a handful of upgrades to the 3D viewer that make it faster and more capable. Any one of your devices can now load 3D models in rapid speed.

• Image Overlay: Pin reference images directly onto 3D models. You can position, scale, and adjust opacity. These overlays remain visible when sharing models via public links.
• 3D Overlays: Combine and manage multiple model layers within a single session—perfect for stacking different scans or scenes together.

Better Downloads, Better Uploads

• Textured GLB Downloads: Now support full decompression. You get full-sized, high-quality textured files ready for professional post-processing without compression loss.

• Multi-video Upload (Premium): Upload multiple videos and GPS logs simultaneously for highly accurate, comprehensive 3D models of large scenes.

• Expanded GPS Support:

• Skydio: Support for CSV format GPS logs for georeferencing.

• Subtitle Support: We now support .ASS (Autel) and .SRT (DJI) files as GPS sources.

• Real-time Tracking: A new upload progress bar provides instant feedback on your data transfer.

New Onboarding for First-Time Users

We’ve shortened the learning curve. New users are now greeted by a welcome wizard that guides them through their first upload and model exploration.

Inside the viewer, interactive tooltips teach navigation (orbit, zoom, measure) with optimized flows for both desktop and mobile users. If you have a colleague who has been hesitant to start, now is the perfect time to get them onboarded.
