My product team has been working overtime. This week we rolled out a major update to our core videogrammetry engine. Every plan has upgraded accuracy, better texture rendering, and faster tooling.
Better Quality 3D Models for Everyone
We upgraded our processing pipeline to maximize detail across the board. Every single 3D model processed on our platform now has enhanced texture details, better matching, and gorgeous colors. I have already been getting emails from customers saying how great their 3D models look. This update is active for all accounts at no additional charge.
If you use our multi-video upload feature, we have massive news. Our internal benchmarks show a 3X improvement in matching accuracy when combining multiple video sources.
We also upgraded our AI Floor Plans to complement the model improvements. Alignment is significantly tighter, and our latest testing shows the output is twice as accurate as before.
This tool is included for all users at no cost. You can export a beautifully aligned floor plan from any interior model in about twenty seconds.
Image Walkthroughs for Everyone
Last week we launched Image Walkthroughs, and the feedback has been incredible. Because of the response, we are making this available to everyone at no extra cost.
We optimized the image loading pipeline so high-quality photos appear rapidly on mobile screens. Now you can navigate through structured spaces with clear visual landmarks on any device.
DJI Avata 360 Mapping Tutorial
With the help of our friends from Pilot Institute, we created a guide for mapping interior and exterior spaces using the DJI Avata 360. This workflow makes capturing complex, tight spaces exceptionally simple. Check out the 3D model they made of their new office in the tutorial below.
