DJI AirWorks, Las Vegas, Nevada

SkyeBrowse was a Gold Sponsor at DJI AirWorks this year! We hit the ground running during the three day conference at the Mirage in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bobby Ouyang and Jeff Clementi did a live demo on day 2, where they flew a DJI M30T above the Mirage Convention Center and made a 3D model for the audience. It was a hot day, so the one button reality capture was well received!

Luis Figueiredo was part of the Industry Panel for BVLOS at Airworks. He discussed the impact that Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) has during drone missions from a public safety perspective, and how this emerging technology made range anxiety a thing of the past!

SkyeBrowse also gave two educational presentations. First, Jeff Clementi gave an updated review of the software, how it works, what it is capable of, and how it benefits search and rescue missions. For those who missed the drone demo, Jeff showed how easy the software and app are to use - including a model that his seven-year old daughter made! Right after, Luis took the stand and showed some detective mission drone footage - taking down a suspect using thermal imaging was a pretty impressive insight into how this technology improves police work.

We were also present at California Association of Accident Reconstruction Specialists in Irvine, CA! SkyeBrowse started off with the use case of accident reconstruction, and we have been branching out since then into other use cases: tactical situational awareness, crime scenes, fires, natural disaster assessment, hazmat, search and rescue - just to name a few. “It has been a great time sharing what SkyeBrowse can do and how it helps with Accident and Scene Investigations. IACP, Dallas, Texas

The SkyeBrowse team also made an appearance at the International Association of Chiefs of Police this year. This is the largest conference and exposition in the world of law enforcement. It was a gathering of over 16,000 public safety officials to learn up-and-coming technologies and techniques to make the world a safer place. There were 650 vendors present at the four day convention, and the knowledge we gathered was invaluable.
